      That’s a great idea! I’m in! When POU was still WSY we had a commenter who often shared recipes on the Wednesday health thread.

        PBomb, thanks for the h/t about Vegetarian Times. I’ve picked up their last couple of issues and found quite a few dishes I can’t wait to try.

      Hi crazycanuck. My one favorite basic is whole wheat spaghetti tossed with evoo, a little salt and pepper, topped with grated pecorino or parmesan cheese- feel free to add anything in with it, like steamed shrimp, leftover baked chicken, olives, tomatoes, peppers, etc.. And don’t forget a chopped garden salad. A cool glass of water with lemon juice or cucumber to sip along. Eat hearty !!

        Water with cucumber? Am I reading that right? I usually have a glass of water with lemon every morning.

          “evoo”=extravirgin olive oil ala Rachel Ray. That’s what she calls olive oil. You could also use sesame oil, leave out the cheese & toss with some steamed frozen Asian stir fry vege for a different taste. I love the pea pods & water chestnuts.

          I like my cucumbers in salad, not in my water so I’ll pass on that, lol.

    Love it! Our FLOTUS rocks!!! I admire her just for being able to twirl one of those hula hoops. I never could get the hang of that myself.
