“I would note that, you know, and this is important to note given some of the coverage of this issue, that when it comes to solo news conferences, where the president of the United States stands up, and for 40 minutes, 50 minutes, or an hour, takes your questions, allowing reporters to go deep on issues, President Obama has given 35 of those. President Bush, his immediate predecessor gave 19,” Carney said. “When it comes to interviews, the president’s given 591 interviews since he took office. So, I think, that it is clear that we are making an effort to provide access, to make sure that the president is being questioned by reporters and anchors and others. And we’ll continue to do that.”

“I mean, the president had some downtime, he was playing golf,” Carney said. “You know, I understand that there was a desire to have access or a photograph of that, but the president was having [a vacation].”

Ok, so it’s officially been a month since I moved back to Louisiana. I’ve halfway furnished my apartment. I’ve got cable, internet, electricity and water. I’ve still got some auto stuff to do, but everything’s going as well as possible right now. I’m sitting here marginally watching tv while surfing the net…exactly what I’d be doing in DFW right now, except I pretty much see my younger sisters twice a month. I can drive 15 min to see my grandmother if I just want to hang and I can drive for about 1 hour and spend time with my fam, go to a birthday party for my godkids, hang out and laugh with my cousins and aunts, or just see my mother in person rather than via text message. Life is good right now. Here’s hoping the bottom doesn’t drop out…lol.

Damn, I miss EnVogue, Brownstone and Jade. The best groups of the early to mid-90s.

Reality TV star and manager Kris Jenner didn’t have any kind words for Honey Boo Boo‘s ratchet parents. According to America’s favorite sitcom mom, Phylicia Rashad, Kris Jenner is the pot calling the kettle negro.

According to new reports, Rashad feels Kris Jenner is just as bad as the ratchet mothers of reality television because she has pushed her children to become fame-whores and get a check by any means necessary. A source close to the former “Cosby Show” star said, “She feels Kris represents everything shallow and vulgar about Hollywood.”
