Wednesday Open Thread: President Obama Wins Second Term!

It’s official: Barack Obama has been re-elected as the 44th president of the United States

The president claimed victory over Mitt Romney after winning the pivotal state of Ohio, tweeting his supporters: “This happened because of you. Thank you. We’re all in this together. That’s how we campaigned, and that’s who we are. Thank you. -bo”

A crowd at a Chicago convention center began cheering and dancing after the Ohio call, as The Supreme’s “You Can’t Hurry Love” over loudspeakers.

More updates throughout the day!

For some reason, this Old School Classic popped into my mind.

Oh, and a good morning it is!
Congratulations to the re-election of President Barack Hussein Obama, the 44th President of the United States of America!

…oh…and haters gotta hate…so, hate on, suckahs!

      • crazycanuck

I know the pundits still can’t get over it, they still talking nonsense.

      • rikyrah

I’m tired as hell, and I’m happy

      • http://pragmaticobotsunite.blogspot.com/ Sepia

That’s alright though because POU will be serving crow dinners and hot cups of STFU all day today.

        • Miranda

SMH……the psuedo-revolutionaries are already at it. For some reason, the local talk radio station here had on Boyce Watkins this morning. That big dummy. He was fake as hell with the congratulations for Obama and then went into his “what this means” analysis that was clapped back on hard from the other panelist on the show. The other guy (never got his name, but he was a minister) really shut Boyce’s theory down about how the GOP could make inroads with black voters because we are “really conservative”, as if black folks can’t separate church and state and vote on what is best for the community as a whole.

          • http://pragmaticobotsunite.blogspot.com/ Sepia

Hol’ up. As much as Boyce was on some “Oomgowa! Black Power!” for 3+ years, accusing PBO of disrespecting Black people, this mofo thinks Black can break bread with the Republicans who tried to take us back to the social policies of the 50s???

See…that’s why I can’t take the Blacker Than Thou Inc mofos seriously.

          • Daltex82

Boyce’s theory down about how the GOP could make inroads with black voters because we are “really conservative”

Dude, rethuglicans are not interested in making “inroads” with black voters and black folks are smart enough to realize that.

        • MonieTalks

          This bitch chea…

Ain’t nobody thinking about drones when they have to spend an 8-hour shift to vote in their own damn country. Now if her ass was really serious, she would be discussing that travesty.

  • crazycanuck

Good Morning everyone. CONGRATULATIONS. LOL, I fell asleep during the chat and missed the Presidents speech.

  • rikyrah

Someone usually does a recap post of the front pages of news papers..

if you come across that post going around the internets…please leave the link

  • MonieTalks

Isn’t it interesting that this morning, after the unprecedented dark money poured in by anonymous donors (by way of Citizens United), the corporate media is quiet as kept on the repudiation of that by American people?!

PBO was supported far more by small donors, that was his lifeline. Mitt Romney was propped up by millionaires with an agenda.

America said “fuck that….this election will not be won by plutocrats operating by special rules. polluting our airwaves and televisions with dishonest propaganda.

    • crazycanuck

Nope, he won because of Sandy, nothing else. That is the crap I saw on TV this morning.

      • conlakappa

To those who’d claim that, I’d tell them a very sage thing I heard from Bill Russell: you don’t win or lose in the last 2 minutes of the game; it’s how you played the first 48.

    — -President Barack Obama wins re-election

    – – —A deeply divided America returned President Barack Obama to the White House Tuesday night.

While his Republican challenger, Mitt Romney, was competitive in the popular vote, Obama crossed the 270 electoral-vote threshold by taking key swing states.

“In this election, you – the American people – reminded us that while our road has been hard, while our journey has been long, we have picked ourselves up, we have fought our way back, and we know in our heart that for the United States of America the best is yet to come,” the president said after winning the grinding, see-saw battle that was the U.S. presidential campaign.

With Florida still undecided early Wednesday morning, Obama had 303 electoral votes to Romney’s 206.

The Democrats, as expected, retained their majority in the Senate.

In his concession speech, Romney called for both sides to work together.

“The nation, as you know, is at a critical point,” Romney said. “At a time like this, we can’t risk partisan bickering and political posturing. Our leaders have to reach across the aisle to do the peoples’ work.”

Romney, as expected, won much of the American south while Obama took large parts of the north and east coast.

Shealy knocks off Knotts in Lexington to become only woman in Senate

Katrina Shealy upended Lexington County politics Tuesday, ousting legendary state Sen. Jake Knotts to become the only woman in the state Senate.

Shealy’s win was remarkable in that she beat Knotts in a district that the Republican incumbent drew for himself. Shealy also won despite getting tossed off the Republican primary ballot, along with about 200 other candidates, for not filing the proper paperwork.

But Shealy fought her way back into the general election as a petition candidate. Still, her victory was a long shot, given that she had to overcome the deluge of straight-Republican Party ticket voting that occurs in each presidential election year.

The state Republican Party suspended its rules so it could endorse Shealy – an unprecedented move, especially against a sitting Republican. And a political action committee affiliated with GOP Gov. Nikki Haley poured money into the race for Shealy to defeat Knotts, a Haley critic and opponent.

Knotts, while beloved by many for his constituent services, was unable to overcome several high-profile stumbles, including a fine by the Senate Ethics Commission for violating state ethics laws and referring to Haley, then a candidate for governor, as a “rag head.”

Congratulations to Barack Obama. His brilliance and spine are part of what put him over the top in this race and his priors. His team has formulated and executed a campaign that relies upon the intelligence of the American people and all of our intellect and differences. It is such a beautiful thing.

Congratulations to POU. This blog is a great example of a well-run grassroots-driven media outlet that offers people a full selection of reporting, research, and commentary with a full table of all that is Black culture.

  • Admiral_Komack

    Elizabeth Warren defeats Scott Brown.
So, the Blue Dog Democrats long, national nightmare is over.

    • conlakappa

Between that and Grayson’s return, you know they’ll be acting all “we did this” for days.

      • GN

Grayson is just dumb enough to buy that (I like him but yall know it’s true), but I think that Elizabeth Warren is way too smart to go down emoprog alley, and she knows enough about riding strong PBO coattails in MA to not have to worry about inevitable screams of betrayal from the shitty PL.

        • conlakappa

I don’t like Grayson–blowhard with a bad dye job. And that he gives the PL hours of wood makes me like him less.

          • Aquagranny911

This time he better pay attention to his constituents instead of waltzing with DK.

        • Aquagranny911

Warren is a pragmatist like PBO. I sure got that when I read her book. I really admire her steadfast loyalty to PBO. She will be a good Senator, worthy of Ted Kennedy’s legacy.

          • GN

Beautifully said–I think she could definitely pick up where Ted Kennedy left off, give her a few years. I hope she knows she does not have to worry about the nutroots–they will not be a factor in returning her to Senate. I hope that she’s a partner to PBO instead.

    • nellcote

So I guess the whole put an excellent choice in charge of the CFPB and having Warren run for senate to support the agenda from there worked out. Long view, people!

      • conlakappa

Hard to have a long view when one’s gaze is fixed upon one’s navel…

  • GreenLadyHere
  • BluMilw

I see that the pundits still refuse to give PBO his just due. It’s funny at this point. PBO won…deal with it! Also, amazed @ the panel on Morning Joe saying that PBO now needs to reach across the aisle and work w/ Congress. I’m glad Marc Moriales stepped up & said that bi-partisanship works both ways. Finally, what’s up w/ MN? It looks like that crazy bat Michele Bachmann may win again. I knew she was batsh*t crazy when I lived there a few years ago. Anyway, I’m going to take the long way to work today, so I can see all of the sad faces. I LOVE it! Good day POU!

    • GN

What they are facing this morning is their **irrelevance.**

Did President Obama’s 4 MILLION donors give a rat’s patootie what Joe Scarborough thinks? How about OFA’s legion of presidential election volunteers, people like dannie and conlakappa, who informed, persuaded, and turned out a diverse, historical, large, and WINNING electorate; do they care about Chuck Todd? Did the First Family look last night as if a single fuck was given about Jodi Kantor or any of the “journalists” who talk trash about them for a living?

New world order: Bey and Jay have more clout over the youth American electorate than the beltway press. President Obama and OFA have more sway over the moderate electorate than the beltway press. Chipsticks has more pull with Obamabots than Jake Tapper, Dick Gregory or any of the asshats claiming that this election was a mandate to hand the Republicans their austerity agenda. Black people out in FORCE for this election could not give even a sliver of a fraction of a damn about Bitter Boyce, Corny, Travis, Van Jones and those folks.

And in sum a broad, wide, diverse electorate proved that they could not care less about the nonsense in the beltway media nor the wishes of the billionaire would-be oligarchs who tried to buy our democracy and failed.

Total irrelevance for the haters; complete irrelevance. We took our country back despite them.

      • jds09

I think the pundits are butthurt. PBO called them out in his acceptance speech, said they were cynical. Not an attractive description.

PBO’s twitter feed and email list has a broader reach than all these assholes combined. PBO put them on blast and told the American people that they aren’t shit. They believed themselves to be “king makers” and resented the fact the PBO ignores their asses, more importantly, he doesn’t need them.

It’s a mother fuckin’ new day.

“It was a speech that sounded as if he did not emerge from the election with much respect, let alone affection, for the president. He sounded as if he really expected to win and was immensely disappointed in the result — even more so than usual.”

    • conlakappa

Someone did mention the blackz last night. Maybe even Steve Schmidt.

      • Worldwatcher7

Could be. I heard him pointedly omit Black folks in his first post election comments.

        • conlakappa

It was in the deeper “what we have learned” segment.

  • Miranda

I didn’t get a chance to chat last night because I had a house full watching the returns…but did y’all see Karl Rove’s meltdown? We watched it in real time, it was epic. It was simply the best television of the night. He totally cracked up and even the rest of the panel was kinda looking at him like “dude….pull up”. It was HILARIOUS! He was fighting the math like he was Kimbo Slice.

And did anyone watch ABC’s coverage and wonder exactly what was up with Diane Sawyer? Folks on twitter said she was drunk, but I think she was overly medicated on something. ABC was all kinds of wrong for putting her out there (unless she insisted and I’m sure her contract mandated she do election night coverage – but still). They wouldn’t dare do a shot of her up close and at times she would be talking and they would only show the BACK of her head! It was awful! Dianne was on something and it was sooooooooo obvious.

    • MsKitty

I missed it. Y’all gotta get the YouTube clip and front page that mess (LOL).

Dang, sorry to hear that Diane Sawyer went all Jessica Savitch on the TV (young’uns go to Wikipedia, Jessica’s story is a very sad one).

      • crazycanuck

Wow what a sad story about Jessica Savitch. Is Diane Sawyer married to Doonsbury?

        • conlakappa

No, that’s Jane Pauley. Sawyer is married to Mike Nichols.

  • Tafr

Hey ya’ll same sex marriage passed in Washington state. Folks in Seattle were acting a fool all night with the parties. We also made history by making small amount of marijuana legal. You know what is crazy though? We still do not know who won the governorship and we may not know until the end of the damn week. Pray that the dem Inslee wins folks.

    • MonieTalks

Did Dino Rossi run again? I remember him from living in WA state in 08-09. He was one of those perpetual candidates..I think he had already run to become governor at least twice back then.

      • Tafr

Girl Dino did not even think about trying this year. Our AG McKenna is running. He was one of the AG’s that tried to sue over Obamacare. Looks like Inslee has a slight lead. I will keep updates on this one as the numbers come in. The last thing I want to see is this asshole to win after his Obamacare stunt.

Barack Obama victory tweet most retweeted ever

The words “four more years”, coupled with a photo of Barack and Michelle Obama embraced in a hug, have become the most retweeted Twitter post ever.

The US president tweeted the message at 0416 GMT, and it has since been retweeted over half a million times.

It underlined the now pivotal role social media plays in informing and persuading potential voters.

Binyamin Netanyahu faces risk of ‘payback’ after Barack Obama victory

Israeli leader may be on the back foot over Iran and the Palestinians after apparently backing Romney for US president

It was hard to imagine champagne corks popping in the Israeli prime minister’s Jerusalem residence as Barack Obama took to the stage to make his victory speech. Much more likely was a mood of sombre resignation, possibly spiked with trepidation, as Binyamin Netanyahu reflected on his heavy bet on the wrong horse.

Judging by the swiftly delivered official response, there is no problem: Netanyahu and Obama will continue their close, warm and strategically aligned partnership.

Linda McMahon really sounded like a piece of work…very Sarah Palin-esque.

    Murphy scarred but triumphant

…Blumenthal during a campaign stop with Murphy in New Britain Tuesday acknowledged McMahon’s rise, then gradual fall, mirrored her arc during their race.

“I think there is a limit to the effect of excessive negativity. That lies and distortions have a limited shelf life when they’re done to excess (and) they are exposed for what they are with the truth,” Blumenthal said.

“Her high point has always been when she launched a deluge of distortion and deception and then there was an opportunity to rebut it,” Blumenthal said. “A little bit like a trial, after the plaintiff presents a case, the jury may think, wow, that’s overpowering. Then they hear the other side. And I think that’s what happened here. Plus, just the excess. Too much. People are sick of the ads.”

And John Olsen, head of the Connecticut AFL-CIO, during the celebration at the Hilton Tuesday, believed the fact McMahon’s ads were almost on constant rotation during storm coverage of Hurricane Sandy hurt her.

I had a vison so clear I should be on the Psychic Hotline. Somewhere between Lousiville and Lexington Kentucky a man that looks like a strung out turtle is curled up in the fetal positon sobbing uncontrollably. His wife after trying to console him most of the night has given up. He’ll just have to cry himself out of it which should end sometime in January 2017.

    Good morning POU :)

    Obama got 93% of the #BlackVote. That’s less than 2008’s 95%. Exit poll: http://www.sacbee.com/2012/11/06/4966431/2012-election-exit-poll-shows.html ….

BUT he forgot to mention this:

Networks, AP cancel exit polls in 19 states
Posted by Jon Cohen and Scott Clement on October 4, 2012 at 11:15 am

Breaking from two decades of tradition, this year’s election exit poll is set to include surveys of voters in 31 states, not all 50 as it has for the past five presidential elections, according to multiple people involved in the planning.

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-fix/wp/2012/10/04/networks-ap-cancel-exit-polls-in-19-states/

So when folks try to say PBO got less of the Black vote this time than in 2008, point out that less states were exit polled.

This negro ain’t slick! He’s trying his best to create a “Blacks are disappointed” narrative but we’re not having it. Notice he doesn’t address AP’s decision not to poll 19 states.

This just goes to show you that even though the election is over, the battle continues.

GTFOH–90% pro-PBO black vote or more makes liars of the sole patrol. He needs to have a seat. /spinning faster than Karl Rove trying to ‘splain the bullshit about black people leaving the First Family hanging when we’ve had their backs all along–never abandoned them

    • GN

Talk about grasping at straws lmaoooooooooooooooooooooooooo! All of these clowns who claimed to rep black thought and claimed that we abandoned POTUS were revealed as complete bullshitters yesterday. People were not standing in 5 or 7 hour lines due to lack of enthusiasm. A good slice of the national media, including emoprogs, are simply full of shit and hijacked the voice of the base for their own purposes, but never represented how we really think and feel.

Romney’s Mexican cousins lament U.S. election loss

COLONIA JUAREZ, Mexico (Reuters) – In a verdant oasis in the deserts of northern Mexico, Republican challenger Mitt Romney’s Mormon cousins mourned his presidential election defeat on Tuesday as a lost opportunity to pull the U.S. economy out of the doldrums.

Romney’s relatives in Mexico, whom he has never visited, had high hopes their clan’s most famous son would win the keys to the White House, create jobs and boost trade.

Kremlin applauds Obama win, takes dig at Romney

Russian leader Vladimir Putin sent President Obama a telegram congratulating him for winning a second term on Wednesday while the prime minister mocked Mitt Romney’s aggressive stance against the Kremlin.

“Overall the Kremlin welcomes the news of Barack Obama’s victory in the elections,” Putin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the Interfax news agency. “We express hope that the positive beginnings in bilateral relations and in international cooperation between Russian and the United States, in the interest of international security, will develop and improve.”

          • JojoRaze

The thing is: Putin didn’t like PBO. I thought it was racial, imho; and I also thought it was because he knew he couldn’t manipulate PBO like he did Dubya. Remember how W said he saw in Putin’s soul that he was a good man? And the relationship was still icey, nothing got accomplished. Medvedev and PBO got along great, though. And once Putin saw that they got along, he could see he could work with PBO as equals. However, once Putin saw Mittens and the idiocy he went on with, he was like “Naw, this fool needs to go sit down.”

  • jds09

OMG, you guys are up?! And I’m on the west coast. It’s a great day to be an American. Off to get coffee.

    • conlakappa

So the catering story I had to tell you involves just that: coffee. We’re at the funeral of the wife of my boss’s boss. She came from a wealthy R family and worked at National Geographic, which is an R institution. The memorial service is in one of the chapels of the National Cathedral. My husband accompanied me. He was wearing a nice blue suit.

White man: The coffee is good.
      My husband: Yes, it is.
White man: But it’s running kind of low.
      Husband:

Ten minutes later, white man stares fixedly at my husband from across the room and starts plucking and tilting the coffee urn!

To segue back onto politics, at least one of the people in the room was in Daddy Bush’s cabinet and another was Steve Forbes’s campaign manager. We met him later at a wedding. True stories all!

      • jds09

That is hilarious. I can totally see the “tilting the coffee urn” lollollol

        • conlakappa

My husband was not amused! I laughed and said I’d have tried to figure out a way to get a tip from the man! I think he tried to get my husband fired from a catering job he didn’t have. In case you don’t remember why I brought it up, you and [I think] GN were laughing about the black faces caught on camera at the Romney non-celebration, commenting that you thought they were cater-waiters.

      • Miranda

________________stop it__________you’re making that up, I know you are.

        • conlakappa

My husband wishes I were! You come to D.C. for the inauguration, the lot of us meet somewhere, we’ll be sure there is a coffee urn nearby and you can pluck and/or tilt it while looking meaningfully at my husband and you’ll see!

            WTF?!

          • conlakappa

I’m going to give a shout-out to Bill Clinton: the media divisively pits him against PBO but I saw a dynamic duo knock it out the damn park. Pres O masterfully appealed to the intelligence of moderates; Pres C translated that into bubba speak/real talk with passion. I know that not everyone agrees and I can certainly understand why considering some of the past, but I believe that the Clintons have come through for POTUS. To put it bluntly, I think that we could have and would have won without them but I am so utterly glad, thankful and grateful that we never had to test out that hypothesis. This was such an amazing election cycle.

    • nellcote

      Clinton=bubba whisperer LOL

      • GN

Okay? Just sayin…he brought it, he really did.

    • Gc

I think they developed a real friendship. I also get pissed at the MSM attributing much of O’s win to BC. It was Obama’s record, the man himself, and minority voters. It was also a weak opponent. I also wonder what it would have been like had he a real opponent. But I am glad we did not have to chance it. Obama is an incrementalist, so I shall be – as time goes on perhaps there will be no caveats in discussing his success.

I think BC is very good at what he does, and am appreciative of any votes he may have tipped our way. I also appreciate your going against the tide in posting your shout outs to him. As always, gn, a pleasure.

Plouffe, Axelrod and Messina are the truth.
    ______________________

    excerpt:
The campaign opened field offices, began an extensive outreach effort in swing states and enriched a voter database with information unavailable in the last election.

Some of that expensive new data included viewer habits, collected by cable companies, that provided clues to voter traits and preferences. In a race where middle-class female voters were courted by both camps, the Obama campaign advertised heavily on the CBS’s sitcom “2 Broke Girls,” according to a Yahoo analysis of Federal Elections Commission data. The campaign bought detailed voter updates, issued every two weeks.

The tools allowed campaign officials to determine — on a house by house basis, rather than on a Zip-code-by-Zip-code basis – how people were likely to vote and whether they were likely to vote at all.

Voters were given “support” scores and “turnout” scores to tell the campaign’s field offices who to go after and how. Field workers were outfitted with mobile applications to give an instant report on every doorstep chat.

    • GN

      I’m just in awe.

    • jds09

This article is why newspapers are dying. The details are interesting but there is an over emphasis on tactics, and very little if any reference to Mitt’s CONSTANT LYING TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. Yet they decide to give ink space to the failed debate meme. It’s incomplete coverage that does not serve the country.

On another note, Plouffle, Messina and Axelrod are the truth and I’d add Cutter. She brought it home with Bain.

      • GN

And Bill Burton’s PrioritiesUSA was absolutely masterful.

Nate Silver amassed a slew of haters this election cycle. IMO he was at his worst when he was pontificating a la the beltway press (I disagree with him and anyone else who claimed that Mittens’ lying performance at the first debate was good–truth needs to count for something or game over).

But when he turned to the numbers and nothing but the numbers, he earned himself a great deal of credibility (and haters) for eschewing the “Mittmentum” bullshit narrative and reporting the damn truth instead. Pbomb sagely pointed out that the Princeton peeps were much more accurate than Silver, but Silver is part of the beltway apparatus and gets more attention. He did good.

    • jds09

Well said. Nate needs to put the pundit mic down and pick up his pencil. Stay in his lane.

      • MsKitty

Yep. That’s where Chuck Todd went wrong. The minute he left his whiteboard and sharpies he was out of his depth, and is now pretty much a laughingstock.

      • GN

That’s exactly it–OFA and ordinary people created the win. All we need Silver etc to do is report it accurately because they get a lot of the political analysis wrong.

    • Aquagranny911

Excellent comment & analysis. I saw a clip of Silver on the Colbert Report & got a laugh.

  • http://pragmaticobotsunite.blogspot.com/ Sepia

I know we were joking but apparently there’s truth in comedy…

On Monday, the night before the election, the Obama campaign was optimistic their vision would pan out. A relaxed group of about 60 campaign staffers including campaign manager Jim Messina decamped to Houlihan’s, just up the street from their Chicago headquarters on Michigan Avenue, to drink beers and take in Obama’s final speech in Des Moines on C-SPAN.

The following morning, bagels were delivered to headquarters for breakfast. Pizza was on the menu for dinner. Some staffers in the in the campaign’s press wing turned on the Oxygen channel to watch a marathon of “America’s Next Top Model” — a “mindless escape,” in the words of one campaign operative. When the results started flowing in, each chapter appeared to unfold as planned.

Hola Peeps! I didn’t crash the party last night because I didn’t want to bring anybody down. I cried my ass off over AZ but I got it out of my system. I got a thank you email from the Prez that made me feel worse because we didn’t bring it but I guess he knew we did try.

We did have big turn out & I’m proud of my peeps for voting. There’s just more of them than there is of us. I never had any doubts that PBO would win this thing but I so wanted him to have AZ in his column too. We’ll just have to work harder next time.

Wasn’t PBO’s acceptance speech stellar? I just cried & cried again with joy at hearing this great man & knowing we have FOUR MORE YEARS!!!

    • GN

Aw, you wouldn’t have brought us down; we would have lifted you up! Thank you so much for BRINGING IT. We lost badly in 2010 but what happened? Never lose hope AG and please know that your efforts were not even close to being in vain. Sometimes it takes more than one turn at the bat to knock it out of the park and I have no doubt but that AZ will be blue in my lifetime because of the efforts of groundbreakers like you. I heard someone say that he was about to turn around and go home and EVERYONE was like “oh no you’re not!” Peer pressure like a mofo lol. (can you tell I’m still giddy?)

Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Israel and the US “will be able to overcome any of our differences.”
French President Francois Hollande: “Your re-election is a clear choice in favor of an America that is open, unified, completely engaged in the international scene, and conscious of the challenges facing our planet: peace, the economy, and the environment.”
Dalai Lama: “You have made earnest efforts to live up to [the] great hope and trust placed in you by the American public. I believe you have been re-elected now in recognition of that effort.”

Was our alliance “strong” when Netanyahu’s ass was over here interfering in the elections and trying to get us into some mess with Iran? How about during the closed door fundraisers that Adelson held in Israel? I have nothing against the Israeli people but they need to get it together re: the Palestinians and stop voting in right wing hawks like Bibi.

Team Obama was not playing. I had no idea the Clooney and Sarah Jessica Parker fundraisers were based on scientific data!

Hey, POU family! Just thought I would post this with all my GLEE about PBO’s very comfortable re-election. This is from last night after I got home:) CONGRATULATIONS AMERICA!! WE DID IT AGAIN!!! CONGRATS TO THE BUCKEYE STATE FOR ONCE AGAIN PUTTING PBO OVER THE TOP!!! It is 3:00am in the morning and just getting home from the State of Ohio Dem victory celebration in Downtown Columbus at the Hilton. Excellent gathering. I rushed over to the hotel after I got off work at 11:00pm and had the cautious butterflies in my stomach waiting for them to call the election for PBO. Great victory for America and great victory for the world. All our hard work paid off. FOWARD!! OBAMA/BIDEN 2012!!
